Rawnsley Park Station is a wonderful accommodation and tourism option if you are visiting the Flinders Ranges in South Australia.
Situated adjacent to the Flinders Ranges National Park between Hawker and Wilpena, and accessed from excellent bitumen roads, the station offers a range of accommodation styles to suit varied tastes and budgets.
Campground
Rawnsley Park campground provides powered and non powered sites, in an attractive creekside bush setting, with some sites situated away from the main area to give privacy and a more wild experience. You can either camp in your tent, or bring your caravan.
Clean modern toilets and showers are provided, as are laundry facilities, and a wonderful large camp kitchen/dining hall, complete with a fridge, microwave, and cooking facilities, and even a TV and "library" for your relaxing pleasure.
on-site vans(4-6 berth) and units (2-6 berth) for hire. These do not have ensuite bathrooms, but the general camp facilities are very nice. The campground also has a licensed shop, for your general camping supplies- groceries, souvenirs, fuel, alcohol, open 7 days, 8.00am – 6.00pm
Rawnsley Park Holiday Units
Whether you are a couple or a family, for comfort and plenty of room the Rawnsley Park Holiday Units are ideal! These are several steps up from the usual type of unit found in a caravan park and are comprised of various transportable buildings, totalling 28 units in all.
There is a variety of accomodation styles and layouts, with 1-3 bedrooms, sleeping 2-6 people. All are self contained with excellent cooking facilities and bathrooms, TV & air conditioning.
The holiday units are set some distance from the campground, so gives more privacy.
Luxury Eco-Villas
These new 1-2 bedroom eco-villas are situated five minutes from the Rawnsley Park reception and units, giving them seclusion and privacy. These eco-villas have ecotourism accreditation, and are made from a unique rendered straw bale construction. Wonderful relaxing romantic getaways for couples, or small families.

Rawnsley Park Station and its various acommodation is set at the foot of towering Rawnsley's Bluff, which makes for a spectacular photogenic backdrop!
Tony and Julieanne Smith, your hosts, are wonderful people who have a true love and appreciation for the area. Rawnsley Park was purchased by Tony's father in 1953, and Tony has carried on the tradition, taking control of the property in 1984.
